The New Year 2017-Planned Parenthood Edition
I really try not to be political in my online life but the announcement this week regarding the government's effort to de-fund Planned Parenthood has been extremely upsetting for me. The services that PP provides to women (and men) is very much needed and the very reason that people want it de-funded (abortion) is the very reason that they should want to continue to support it. Planned Parenthood provides free (low cost) birth control to people who, otherwise, may not have access to it. And without birth control, woman can get pregnant (Captain Obvious, I know).
